The offset mouthpiece was developed by our equine dentists, in collaboration with our sponsored riders, to create a mouthpiece adapted for horses with:
anteroposterior discrepancies
mandibular periostitis
large tongues
The offset mouthpiece provides them with a suitable space for optimal comfort and contact.
The Strong Flex mouthpiece consists of 3 layers:
a central core providing the mouthpiece's flexibility: this flexibility stimulates the same mechanoreceptors as a straight mouthpiece.
the body providing the mouthpiece's ergonomics: pressure points are distributed to respect the morphology of the horse's mouth.
the outer layer providing cushioning: the Strong mouthpiece is less cushioning than a Soft or Medium mouthpiece. The information transmitted to the horse is less attenuated, allowing for better responsiveness to the rider's hand.
