Use

The Basis Shadowmatt riding helmet has been developed using the best materials to enable a real revolution in terms of protection and comfort for the most demanding riders. In order to ensure optimal product development, Samshield works with some of the best riders in the world, such as Kevin Staut, Steve Guerdat and Adeline Cornelissen.

Equipment

The Basis Shadowmatt riding helmet is decorated with 5 Swarovski stones. The anti-allergy inserts with "memory function" and padded leather chin straps for a perfect fit prevent slipping and guarantee you a perfect custom fit.

Samshield helmets were designed in France and partly by hand. Samshield meets the highest requirements of the European Union standards "EN 1384" and "ASTM F1163/SEI" with regard to safety with the Shadowmatt.

With the Basis Shadowmatt riding helmet from Samshied, you forget about sweating problems: the helmet has an innovative ventilation system for optimal air circulation. The ventilation inlets are not obvious on this helmet. In fact, these ventilation openings are brought above and below the visor. Thanks to this technology, Samshield does not need large openings either. The air enters the helmet through so-called "Air Channels", after which this air spreads inside. This principle therefore eliminates sweat and ensures pleasant cooling.

The helmet pads, also called liners, are included in the delivery of the Basis Shadowmatt helmet and do not have to be selected and ordered separately.

The SAMSHIELD helmet pads are equipped with a pleasant memory function. They adapt perfectly to the shape of the head and guarantee an impeccable hold. The inserts are exchangeable and washable. They are also available in different sizes.

Material

The shell consists of the new generation of very hard but at the same time extremely light polycarbonate, coupled with polystyrene (EPS) extending inside, which absorbs, controls and distributes evenly in the event of an impact or blow. In addition, the inner layer can be removed or replaced after a possible impact or blow. From our point of view, this is a major advantage.
