Composition: German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel) a strong, relaxing alloy.

Effect: The Pelham is a good compromise between the bridle and the snaffle. It offers more or less leverage depending on the length of the temples, the adjustment of the curb chain and the way it is fitted. It causes a cession of the neck and pressure on the mandibles.

Advice for use: All Pelhams can be used live, on four reins or with wedding rings. The action of the curb chain can also be softened with other types of curb chain such as leather or nylon.

Care instructions: Rinse the bit thoroughly after each use to avoid residue build-up and discomfort for your horse.
