Covered in vegetable-tanned leather and hand-stitched, the Pelham Beris leather bit is very well accepted by sensitive horses because this natural material adapts to the anatomy of the horse's mouth, increasing its feeling of well-being and stimulating salivation and chewing.

The Pelham Beris leather bit is mainly used on horses that are hot or have difficulty flexing their neck.

The short shanks (5cm) allow a more direct and rapid action but are not very severe, whereas the long shanks (7cm) allow a stronger leverage effect.

The Pelham Beris leather bit can be used with rings, 1 or 2 pairs of reins.

This leather Beris bit is available in soft (for sensitive horses) or hard (for powerful horses) barrels, in sizes 130 or 140, and in short or long shanks.

It comes with bit washers to avoid pinching the corners of the mouth.

Before using for the first time, soak the barrel in edible oil and repeat the operation as soon as it feels dry. Clean under water after each use.
