Kombi Prime Beris bit
The straight combined jaw, ultra flexible prime barrel, from the Beris brand allows you to obtain a more constant, stable, and symmetrical contact. It helps with making contact and is intended more for horses having difficulty tensing with articulated bits or being very sensitive to rigid materials. The right barrel exerts direct pressure on the tongue and bars, while freeing the palate. The fact that it is straight ensures symmetrical left/right contact from the hand to the mouth and eliminates any risk of pinching the tongue. All these elements will allow the horse to gain confidence in his mouth, to settle down and tense up. The Ultra soft barrel is ideal for very sensitive horses who do not appreciate the contact of more rigid bits. It is a light barrel which releases pressure in the mouth. The fact that it is very flexible does not allow your horse to put too much pressure on it. It has a slight tongue release for added comfort.
The Combined bit is similar to the elevator bit, combined with a leather or rubber strap, which exerts pressure on the chin. When the tension of the reins is high, to relieve the mouth, the action of the hand is sent to the back of the noseband. Thus the horse remains calmer, stabilizes its head position upwards by tilting its weight backwards while maintaining good rein tension. It can be used with two or four reins or alliances. The pressure on the neck is less than a Pessoa or elevator bit model thanks to the action of the strap on the chin.
Resin: Beris bits are made of resin, with a specially smooth surface which allows them to slide in the horse's mouth without the “gum” effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses with difficulty salivating. This resin is made from a plastic material for food use. A real asset for obtaining chewing and good acceptance of the bit thanks to its soft contact and its ambient temperature.
> Handcrafted.
Warning: This material is vulnerable, it is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear related to bites. It is strongly recommended not to use a bit that is too damaged as there is a risk of injuring the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
