Jump'In 0131 Pelham lifting bit

Composition: German Silver (65% copper, 23% zinc, 12% nickel), a strong, relaxing alloy.

Effect: This mouthpiece is obviously not for everyone and will be for professional use or for the discerning amateur. The Pelham is a good compromise between the bridle and the snaffle. It gives good control over the horse's movement. The lifter, on the other hand, acts more on balance. This bit is therefore very effective and strong overall.

Advice for use: This Pelham can only be used with four reins with one pair on the lifter uprights and a second on the branch of the Pelham. It is possible to put a pair of wedding rings between the main ring of the Pelham and the branch to reduce its action a little. The action of the curb chain can also be softened with other types of curb chain such as leather or nylon.

Care instructions: Rinse the bit thoroughly after each use to avoid residue build-up and discomfort for your horse.
