A traditional diet

For centuries, mash has been given after strenuous work, during convalescence, or to prevent colic. Thanks to its highly varied composition and particularly good palatability, Irish Mash® can be used as a first meal after colic or surgery, or during convalescence, in case of loss of appetite, or chewing problems.

Irish Mash® is particularly tasty, very close to the traditional composition, made from wheat bran and flax seeds, and developed based on the latest dietary knowledge. The golden flax seeds, gently cracked during a special process, allow for quick preparation without cooking. Digestibility and a dietary effect are guaranteed thanks to a low starch content, extruded cereals, a malt yeast-based condiment, coriander and brewer's yeast. Thanks to its beneficial properties for the intestines, it helps improve the feed conversion rate and weight gain of horses that are poor forage users. Irish Mash® promotes regeneration after competitions, coverings and foaling, and has proven itself particularly effective during moulting.
