Ice Relax, a cooling treatment to relieve the horse's tendons after exercise:

Ice Relax is an external treatment made from aloe vera gel, arnica extract, comfrey extract, rosemary essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil and peppermint essential oil. This essential oil notably has cooling and invigorating properties which relieve and accelerate recovery time after exercise. Its major active molecule, menthol, present at 50% in this oil, is at the origin of its benefits and also helps relieve joint pain.

Comfrey, applied externally, is also recognized for its anti-inflammatory properties which help to reduce muscle strains. Comfrey is frequently used by athletes to speed up recovery time.

The Ice Relax formula has muscle-relaxing properties thanks also to the presence of eucalyptus essential oil which helps activate lymphotonic circulation. The product can therefore be applied after exercise to relieve muscle tension and avoid contractures and aches.

What to combine Ice Relax with?

In case of pronounced and frequent engorgement, you can take cures of Chrysantellum, a plant source of saponosides and flavonoids which is renowned for its benefits on blood circulation. Chrysantellum is very useful in cases of congestion or circulatory disorders in the hoof.
