Spirulina is a blue-green algae cultivated for its exceptional nutritional properties.

It is very rich in high-quality plant-based protein: it contains between 60 and 70% (twice as much as soy!).

It contains 8 non-essential and essential amino acids (which cannot be produced by the body): isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. Spirulina contains numerous vitamins: vitamin A (beta carotene: 15 times more than carrots), B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B12), vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, etc.
