Hippoderm Baume is a care product for external use that cleanses, hydrates and nourishes in depth. These components promote the natural regeneration processes of the epidermis in the event of cracks or irritation of the horse's pastern in a humid environment:

Beeswax: it is secreted by wax bees who use it to build honeycombs. It is very rich in vitamin A, which gives it protective properties. It forms an impermeable film on the skin which protects it from external aggressions.

Peru balsam: it is a thick brown resin from a tree native to Central America. This substance was traditionally used by the Indians for its cleansing and restorative properties.

Zinc oxide: zinc oxide, a common agent in cosmetology, has soothing and purifying properties. It also acts as a UV filter from the sun's rays.

What to combine Hippoderm balm with?

Before applying Hippoderm Balm, the skin can be cleansed with colloidal silver, it is recognized for its purifying and cleansing properties.
