marstall Gastro-Muesli was developed according to current scientific standards for horses with sensitive stomachs or stomach problems. Nervous and underweight horses also benefit from the optimal grain-free recipe and gastric acid buffering. The molasses-free muesli is very tasty, as horses with stomach problems are often picky eaters.
Thanks to the Allgäu hay fibers and soft timothy straw, the Gastro-Muesli has a high structural content. This stimulates chewing activity and thus promotes saliva formation. The added bicarbonate helps buffer stomach acids. Even the grain-free and molasses-free recipe helps prevent excessive stomach acid. Grape pomace provides anti-inflammatory polyphenols in the Gastro-Muesli. Antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids support this effect. Mannan-oligosaccharides and β-glucans promote a healthy gastrointestinal environment by utilizing the natural biofilm on the intestinal mucosa, strengthening the immune system, and binding mycotoxins. They also have a prebiotic effect. Since stress and stomach problems often go hand in hand, the Gastro-Muesli contains an extra portion of magnesium. This isn't just beneficial for nervous horses, as magnesium is also used for muscle relaxation, which is important.
