How does it work?
Forshner's Hoof Packing contains:
Pine tar, with antiseptic properties, to prevent the development of bacteria, waterproof and healing.
Vaseline for its moisturizing and softening action.
How to use Forshner's Hoof Packing from Farnam?
1 - Before application, make sure that the hoof is completely clean and dry.
2 - Stuff with Forshner's Hoof Packing around the frog, then spread in a thick layer on the sole.
3 - Cover with paper and leave in place for 12 hours.
Apply the poultice 2 to 3 times a week
In cold weather, the product is easier to apply if it is kept warm.
