The Winter BIB is the ideal protection for your horse's chest. It protects against rubbing caused by blankets. It is a pad containing two flaps which are placed on the front of the blanket where the breast fasteners are located. One flap is slid inside the rug, directly against the horse's chest. The other will be positioned on the outside to hold the BIB in place. Both edges of the BIB have notches to ensure that the BIB stays in place.

As the BIB is in direct contact with the horse's skin, it is covered with an artificial rabbit skin. This very soft material provides an extremely comfortable feel. An artificial sheepskin is sewn to the edge of the Winter BIB to prevent chafing at the neck and provide even more comfort. The outer fabric of the BIB is 100% polyester. Not only does it prevent rubbing, it also evens out the pressure the blanket exerts on the horse's chest. The BIB can also be used in the same way to protect the withers and is suitable for all types of blanket. The BIB is machine washable at 30°, no tumble dryer.
