The Summer BIB is the ideal protection for your horse's chest. It protects against rubbing caused by blankets. It is a pad containing two flaps which are placed on the front of the blanket where the breast fasteners are located. One flap is slid inside the rug, directly against the horse's chest. The other will be positioned on the outside to hold the BIB in place. Both edges of the BIB have notches to ensure that the BIB stays in place.

The BIB is very soft with its 100% polyester outer fabric and offers great comfort to the horse. Not only does it prevent rubbing but it also evens out the pressure the blanket exerts on the horse's chest. The BIB can also be used in the same way to protect the withers. It fits perfectly over a fly shirt or summer shirt, but can of course be used with all types of blanket. The BIB is machine washable at 30°, no tumble dryer.
