The straight needle bit, comfort barrel, from the Beris brand allows you to obtain constant, stable, and symmetrical contact. It helps with making contact and is intended more for horses having difficulty tensing with articulated bits. The right barrel exerts direct pressure on the tongue and bars, while freeing the palate. The fact that it is straight ensures symmetrical left/right contact from the hand to the mouth and eliminates any risk of pinching the tongue. All these elements will allow the horse to gain confidence in its mouthpiece, to settle down and tense up, it is an ideal bit for a young horse. The Hard barrel is ideal for horses with sensitive mouths but who tend to lean slightly. The Soft barrel is ideal for sensitive horses who need to rest lightly on the hand.

Resin: Beris bits are made of resin, with a specially smooth surface which allows them to slide in the horse's mouth without the “gum” effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses with difficulty salivating. This resin is made from a plastic material for food use. A real asset for obtaining chewing and good acceptance of the bit thanks to its soft contact and its ambient temperature.
