Adjustable German reins IHWT

Our innovation allows you to adjust the length of your German reins

thanks to a sliding adjustment system designed and manufactured by the IHWT team.

The aim is to be able to use German reins on a horse as well as a large pony.

All you have to do is pull and slide the system to the size you want.

This means you don't have too long a flow that could get caught in your stirrup.

and, at the same time, tension the rope so that the horse doesn't get its feet caught in it.

What does it do?

Firstly, each German rein is fitted with a Soft T grip and Fixi'T stoppers (one on each side).

The stoppers allow you to adjust your German reins to suit your horse's degree of dressage and ability.

For coaches, the stoppers can be used, for example, to indicate to the rider

a reference point that must not be exceeded to avoid freezing, blocking or hooding the horse.

German reins should not be tightened: the aim is not to ask the impossible of your horse.

Furthermore, it is recommended that you use them in a 'reasoned' way, punctually and intelligently,

the least restrictive for your horse.

The materials

The 6 mm rope is thinner than that used on traditional German reins, thus

allows it to slide better and makes it lighter.

The snap hooks are also lightweight, made of stainless steel,

which will prevent rusting in contact with moisture.
